Contemporary two-storey single-family villa adapted to its context, designed to make the most of its solar orientation.
Two front volumes and a third at the rear housing the staircase define the composition. The larger volume is intersected by a smaller one set at a 45° diagonal, oriented towards the view that opens over the street to the east in the direction of the Pena National Palace.
This smaller volume is lightened and perforated, defined only at its edges by the columns and beams on the upper floor. The main volume is set back along its front plane to shade the terrace that extends from the ground-floor living room. The recessed plane changes texture, finished in wood-effect phenolic panels, to clearly express the setback. A small connecting element at the intersection of the two volumes marks the entrance to the house.
Inside, the ground floor features an open-plan social area and kitchen opening onto the outdoor spaces and studio, while the first floor houses the bedrooms — the master suite with a dressing room, and two further bedrooms sharing a bathroom.
