Expansion and rehabilitation project for local accommodation within an existing house in Faro.

The project articulates the identity of the original building with a new minimalist volume. The intervention respects the urban alignment and local scale, focusing on enhancing the existing structure through contemporary formal and spatial clarity. Internally, the spatial reconfiguration enables programmatic optimization, resulting in the creation of 11 rooms and shared common areas, where modern functional requirements coexist with the memory of the pre-existing structure.
